Wow! What a delight! The food was gorgeous, cheese scone followed by cinnamon bun all washed down with lashings of delicious tea! The staff were so friendly and we were made to feel really welcome and valued! Great for dogs too!

Beautiful local cafe with the most gorgeous cakes, tea, coffee, sandwiches… my favourite by far is the lemon polenta cake which is literal gold!! And on a nice day (well any day if you don’t mind the weather) you can sit outside and the little birds will come to tilt their heads at your cake and maybe even try some Ben and Lou are just the loveliest people, so welcoming, and the cafe is a short walk down the hill to the beautiful Calgary bay. Drop in on your way to or from calgary!

I absolutely loved this place! It's right next door to the gallery where the art walk begins, which I would recommend. I ate here twice, once having the best scone with jam and cream I have ever had, and again ordering a focaccia with local Mull cheese and kimchi, which was lovely. The staff are really warm and kind, and the location is just wonderful, a short walk from a beautiful beach where eagles fly overhead.

Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere . The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had the Curried Cauliflower Soup, Pea Walnut and Pesto Soup. Spinach and Ricotta Quiche. Coffee and Peanut Butter Brownie. For £26 Everything was well presented , Hot and tasted very fresh. The staff were attentive and efficient. Dog friendly, well behaved dogs are allowed inside and water bowls are everywhere. Shadow our Black Labrador very much enjoyed his visit as did we. Keep doing what you are doing, you're doing it very well. See you soon.. Ps Thanks for info re Winter Accommodation availability. Ann ,Alan & Shadow.

Ben and Lou are doing an amazing job of carrying the torch for the cafe and making it their own. Really great quality baking and cooking, had a few cakes and savoury things during our stay, and attention to things like sourcing of quality ingredients for coffee and hot chocolate etc. is wonderful and makes the difference. Also a huge thanks to the whole team who during the 3 day power cuts following Storm Amy, put on hospitality at lunch for everyone in the area, locals and visitors alike. Very much community minded, generous, and the spirit of the area... and it gave everyone with kids a break whilst they all played together! Can't wait to come back.
